Who makes use of, registers himself/herself at, orders goods or services at the internet shopping site operated by the service provider.

Accepting terms of contract

Contract is established by registration at the internet site of the service provider and by accepting present terms of contract. Registration is a primary condition for shopping at the internet site. Service provider reserves the right to verify the authenticity of registration data, cancel registration if the verity of the information it comprises is doubtful or uninterpretable.
Service provider reserves the right to change terms of contract in part or entirely. Terms of contract always come into force at the time of insertion. Terms of contract will be in force as long as the service provider provides the services.

Conditions of delivery

Delivery and reception is possible as follows:
  • Personally in our shop:
You may take over the goods you had ordered in person in the shop thus receiving the product faster and cheaper, may touch and try any piece.
  • By curier company (domestic and all the countries of the world - see list of costs of delivery list ):
           We send along our products to your home or might as
           well your workplace with the services of leader  
           curier companies.
          
           In Hungary
in every town and settlement we deliver the packages during working hours (08:00 am-05:00 pm) on the workday succeeding acceptance. When ordering please give an address of delivery where you could be contacted during the day. Please, also give your phone number as part of your data so that curier may reach you in case of any problem occurring during delivery.
           In the countries of the European Union, the expected
delivery time is 2-5 days.
           For countries outside the EU the transport charges can not be precalculated automatically, because of the unpredictable volumetric-weight of the packages. In such cases, transport charges calculation takes place after order had been sent. Certainly, in view of the given charges you reserve the right to confirm or withdraw your order afterwards.
Export charges of delivery ( to countries outside EU ) also include cost of clearing.
For export parcels or packages time of transport will differ according to target country: 1-8 workdays following acceptance.

Domestic and export transport charges calculated by the system also include costs of insurance.

 

Delivery free of charge

For domestic orders over a gross price of 30.000 HUFs doorstep delivery is free of charge. In case you had asked for the services of the shipping company and do not receive the parcel in consequence of your fault or through no fault of your own we reserve the right to shift the transport expenses on to you irrespective of value.

IMPORTANT! In case the user have ordered fragile product such as ceramic, lamp etc, then he/she must open package in the presence of the delivery man and if the package is damaged get in touch with the delivery service company at once and the provider too.
User also should make photos of the outside of the package if it is damaged and the damaged product in the package as it lays in the box.
User is not bound to receive damaged parcel.

Provider can only accept complaint of damage, when it is revealed right on the receipt of the package.

Means of payment

  • Personally in our shop you can make payments with cash or credit card on receipt of your purchase.
  • Cash on delivery (COD): You pay your purchase to the carrier on receipt of the goods. Delivery is free of COD charge for orders over 30.000 HUFs. COD charge for orders under 30.000 HUFs is 650 HUFs.
  • Bank transfer: We can satisfy your demands after preliminary transfers. As soon as the transferred sum arrives to our account we will deliver the ordered goods following a checking on the phone or you may take your purchase from our shop in person.
  • Payment via SimplePay online paying system.
  • Via PayPal Financial Service you can safely and easily pay online in our  webstore. 
  • The PayPal choice of payment is not selectable when purchasing goods of iranian origin.  
           PayPal makes electronic accounts for its costumers, which 
           can be loaded up by  credit card, bank transfer, from either
           private or business bank account. No need to share financial
           informations about your credit card or bank account during
           your online shopping, giving your PayPal user name and
           password is enough to make your shopping.

In case of orders coming from countries within and outside EU
payments are possible only by bank transfer or via PayPal.

Registration and simplified order

  • During registration you have to carefully fill out registration form, so please give your name, address, e-mail address and phone number. The registration page consists delivery ( destination ) address and invoice address and your other details. By default delivery address is the same as the invoice address, but you can give an address different than invoice address , so you can send - say- a gift to your friend from our store.
  • In case you give a destination country during registration different than the one you have choosen in the basket before registration, then the system will take into account the destination country given at registration.  
  • You must accept Terms and Conditions for successful registration.
  • In Simplified order you can give your delivery and invoice details, plus choosing way for payment on a single page, so you can send your order without registration, in a single step.
  • Those costumers who choose simplified order, since they avoid registration, will not be included in our regisrty, so they can not take part in our Client program.

Right of desistance from buying a product

In the course of ordering a product you have the right of unconditional desistance regulated in detail by Government Decree 17/1999. Customer has the right to send back the ordered product to the service provider within 8 days, in the whole, in its intact package.
Service provider is obliged to return to the customer the equivalent value of the package within 30 days after receipt. Service provider will return the price only following return of undamaged products, moreover the service provider can claim compensation for losses due to use other than the purpose of the product.
The customer will bear all expenses arising during the course of returning any goods connected to the right of desistance especially costs incurring during delivery and return. Thus, in case of desistance the customer is obliged to bear expenses of delivery even in the case when the product was originally ordered with a delivery free of charge. The customer is obliged to return the product with an acknowledgement of receipt and in a package insured at least up to its gross price. In case the customer returns the product in a way other than described above and the product is lost in the course of postal return the customer can not lay claim to the rebate of its price.
The customer has the right to desist from buying a product following order but before delivery. In such cases desistance is free of charge for the customer. You can give notice of your desistance through e-mail or in person indicating exact details of your order (name of customer, address, time of order, ordered goods).

Surety, Warranty, Guarantee

As to surety and warranty amenabilities of the seller the directives of the Civil Code and Ministerial Decree 49/2003. (VII.30.) are authoritative. With regard to prescribed surety on consumer durables the directives of Government Decree 151/2003. (IX. 22.) are authoritative.
We provide guarantee advised by law on every product, claims are in general enforceable for 12 months after handing over, with the exception if otherwise prescribed by law.
In case of any legal debate the Hungarian text of terms of contract is authoritative.

Data protection

Service provider respects and safeguards your personal data. Handling your data we proceed in accordance with the regulations of the Law on Data Protection.
The Oriental Carpets Gallery Ltd. hereby informs you that it will store your data for the sake of performing the contract, documentation and latter proof of contractual conditions.
In case the service provider employs a third person to perform the contract the customer authorizes the service provider to pass over data necessary for the task to be performed by this third person. Subcontractors are by no means entitled to retain, use or pass over to any further person personal information given by the service provider. Our company reserves the right to send advertising letters within the profile of the store making use of data given at registration.

EU tax free shopping

Any company that can provide proof of a valid EU tax number can purchase from Oriental Carpets Gallery VAT free. We will issue the invoice without VAT. The delivery address must be located in the EU country where the buyer is registered and goods then must be delivered abroad verified.
